João Pescada is a Portuguese visual artist living in London, UK.

His work explores the fusion of the warm touch of human craftsmanship and the cold digital precision of computers.

Using code algorithms, he develops generative artworks with an organic feel that later can be transported to the physical world using graphite, colour pencils or pigment ink on paper.
Sometimes hand-drawn, sometimes printed, and sometimes plotted with the helping hand of a robot.

His work has been exhibited in Lisbon, London and Milan.
It is also in private collections worldwide.
